Introducing Dermalux - a medically approved and clinically proven LED phototherapy treatment
What is Phototherapy?
Phototherapy literally means “treatment with light”.
LED Phototherapy is the application of low-level light energy delivered via spectrally pure bioactive wavelengths to stimulate or regulate biological process with proven therapeutic results.
The Dermalux is British made, 5-times award winning and clinically proven in the treatment of a wide range of skin concerns including; ageing skin and rejuvenation; spots and blemish prone skin; hyperpigmentation; red and flushed skin; sensitive skin conditions; well-being.
The blemish fighting blue light destroys the bacteria which causes spots and improves skin clarity without irritation. It also has a calming effect for problem skin conditions.
Rejuvenating red light increases metabolic energy and ATP (adenosine triphosphate) to stimulate cell renewal, boost collagen and elastin production and increase hydration. Ideal for restoring vitality.
Near Infrared light (NIR) offers advanced rejuvenation benefits, calms redness and irritation and helps to reduce pigmentation and in clinical studies has been proved to increase cell regeneration by 200%.
Significant improvement in serious skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne and rosacea have been proven.
It is possible to work with more than one light therapy simultaneously for outstanding results.
Contraindications to treatment are epilepsy, autoimmune conditions (Lupus) and active cancers.
The treatment is available either as part of your usual Face Matters facial or as a 45 minute stand alone treatment (please arrive without make-up ~ eye mak-eup not a problem).
An intensive activation programme of 12 x 30 minute treatments are recommended 2 or 3 times a week for optimum results if dealing with particularly serious conditions. Individual 30 minute treatments or a short boost of 3 sessions to revitalise and calm also works well.
