Does Your Skin Need Vitamin C?

Is your skin feeling a little dull or lacklustre, tired, or UV damaged?

And what does Vitamin C even do for the skin anyway?

Vitamin C is acidic, which means it sloughs away dead cells from the skins surface leaving it brighter and smoother and speeds up new cell regeneration too, which means that the skin is triggered to ‘heal’ itself by accelerating the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen is the protein fibre that makes skin plump and prevent sagging; elastin is also a protein fibre that helps the skin to bounce back.  We need these proteins!

One of Vitamin C’s biggest uses is for reducing scars, spots and other hyperpigmentation. It is a well-known brightening ingredient, and is used topically to fade brown spots without altering normal skin pigmentation. Clever stuff.

Vitamin C actually IS the super ingredient it claims to be.  Its hyperpigmentation-correcting, skin tone-evening,  anti-ageing, damage-repairing and UV-protecting powers make it a Holy Grail ingredient, but it takes time and consistent application to see the best results.

This is where we make it so easy for you as our products are packed full of it and so you don’t need to purchase yet another beauty product or over complicate your daily skincare routine.   Ta dah!
