Do You Need Peptides?

Peptides are amino acids that are the building blocks of certain proteins needed by the skin.  Foods high in peptides that are absolutely ab fab for the skin are eggs, milk, meat, fish, beans, lentils, soy, oats and flaxseed.  They help to keep the skin fibres strong and bouncy!

I keep being asked if topically can you use things like Retinol, Peptides and Vitamin C together? I wouldn’t recommend.  Especially if you are on the sensitive side, skin could become irritated and red.  Always tread carefully especially with a Retinol or Vitamin C serum – less is definitely more.

Taking care of you!

Your work and loved ones are so important, but your own mental and physical health is absolutely crucial for a happy, healthy life too.

Start your day as peacefully as you can.  Early morning can be calming – enjoy the quiet whilst your world is still asleep.  A few deep breaths and stretches can work wonders.  Play your happy song…….. and of course book a relaxing facial with me!! …… who doesn’t love a bit of pressure point head and face massage to release stress and tension.

Get to bed early when you can and skip the late night nonsense scrolling.  Never ever forget that YOU MATTER.
