I am so proud to share some amazing news with you all…. Face Off Cleanser has won a 2021 Beauty Bible Award 🌟

The Beauty Bible really is the ultimate – the Oscars of the beauty world and so I feel massively honoured to be in the same company as wonderful brands such as Weleda, Oskia, Elemis to name but 3 in this category.

A huge amount of effort goes into the Beauty Bible every year and this year especially with the Covid impact and so it feels even more rewarding than ever; over 10 months with 1380 real people testing and trialling products in real life,  literally hundreds of brands and over 200,000 words written.  It’s a big deal and cuts through the jungle that is the beauty industry.

As well as sharing this wonderful news I thought it would be nice to share exactly what the Beauty Bible had to say about the cleanser here too ………

Actress Sarah Parish is one of the celebrities who raves about this small British brand, started by facialist Sally Curson, originally to provide products for her own rosacea. The range is based on natural and certified organic plant extracts. This soap free, gentle facial cleanser, which should suit even the most sensitive skin, contains skin-cherishing botanicals including jojoba, rosehip and sunflower oils, aloe vera and calendula. Although Sally emphasises that she sells it as a facial cleanser, not an eye make-up remover, she says many people do use it on their eyes and say it takes off even waterproof eye make-up (which some of our testers found too). Designed to be used with lukewarm water, it should thorough cleanse and exfoliate all in one go.

‘Full marks for this product which was great for my combination, sensitive and blemish-prone skin; I really liked the uplifting aromatic fragrance. You just massage into damp skin and use a face cloth to exfoliate; it removed everything easily without rubbing. My skin felt super clean but not overly tight, fresh and soft. Really good natural product that doesn’t strip skin and does what it says, very effective and lasts for ages’.

‘I preferred to use this as a quick and easy morning face wash which left my skin feeling soft, hydrated and clean without feeling tight. If I was wearing a lot of makeup then I liked to double cleanse with it (which is what I would normally do with my other cleansers) and all traces of makeup would disappear without irritating my skin’.

‘the texture is just right – enough to rinse together in your hands to form a lather and then apply to your face; it didn’t say it worked on waterproof make-up but it did, even mascara which I was impressed with; family has notice my skin looks fresher and glows.
